Obituary

Balcom – Frank Edward, of West Islip, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 14, 2021. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Eileen, of almost 55 years. He is survived by his two sons, Richard and Christopher, his two daughters-in-law, Kendra and Laura, as well as his six grandchildren, Paige, Thomas, Casey, Margaret, Alexandra, and Faith. Frank worked his entire career of 35 years at Verizon, where he began as a lineman and ascended to the position of area manager, when he retired in 2003. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed the outdoors.
