Obituary

Lucille (Petroni) Olsen was born in 1940 in Mount Vernon, New York. Her parents were Daniel Petroni and Viola (Crivaro) Petroni. She had one brother, Ron Petroni of North Carolina and cousins and relatives in Pittsburgh, the Crivaro family. Married to Robert (Bob) Olsen for 46 years, and lived in Bellmore NY, with two sons, Vinny and Bobby. When Bob and Lucille retired, they moved to Riverhead. She worked in school administration most her career. She was a member of the Bellmore Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Lucille loved all her family and friends. She loved sun and warmth. Music made her most happy. She and Bob often went line dancing and country western dancing. She loved listening and dancing to 50’s Rock and Roll, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s Country Western and current pop music. She loved seeing local bands at venues and street fairs. Lucille also loved following interior design trends and decorating her home with warm bright colors. Lucille lived her life by trying always to do the right thing. She cared deeply for everyone in her life and was selfless in her concern. Just wanting the best for those in her life. She will be missed by her two sons, daughter-in-law, three grandsons and several nieces and nephews. She is much loved and will be remembered, always.
