Obituary

Fard M. Norman was born July 9, 1971 to Charles Edward Norman and the late Magnolia Barbara Norman. Fard was born in Orange, New Jersey, he went to North Babylon High School where he honed his love of music and dance so much so that he was part of a singing group called "Touch of Class" with classmates and longtime friends Shawn, Darren, Rodney, Gerard and Eugene. He then went on to Johnson & Wales where he trained in his other passion for culinary arts. He started his career at Bennigan’s Restaurant then finished as a manager at Red Lobster's. He then went on to work as a accountant at Landtek from which he retired. Fard was always there for friends and family whether it was advice, or just a listening ear Fard was always there for you, unless the NY Giants were playing, then he’d get back to you. Fard leaves to mourn in his passing his father Charles Edward Norman, his sisters Deborah Glenn and Shakirah Norman, his nieces - Erika Glenn, Nyashia Revell, Dahlia Neblett, his nephew Michael Glenn Jr., a host of cousins and his honorary brothers, Patrick , Shawn, Morris, Rodney, Julian, Gerard, Barry, Jonathan and Darren. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy., (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). A Religious Service to be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI. Visiting Tuesday 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
