Obituary

Robert Joseph Bramanti, 64, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 due to complications following a sudden cardiac arrest. He was a life-long resident of Long Island, NY. He graduated from Brentwood High School in 1974. He married his beautiful wife of 37 years, Eileen Elizabeth Bramanti (Ebling) on September 5, 1982. They have lived in Islip Terrace, NY since 1982. He was a CNC machinist for a defense company (L3 Harris Inc). He is survived by his wife, Eileen; their two daughters, Michele Theresa Rosini, 35 (husband Ernesto Rosini) and Melissa Elizabeth Deleski, 32 (husband Derick Deleski); two grandchildren, Giuliana Elizabeth, 3 and Giovanni Ernesto Rosini, 1; and his sister, Wanda Fagan (husband Tom Fagan). He is preceded in death by his Mother, Alice Banci Bramanti Dobrich (2018) and his father, Marino Bramanti (1972). Robert Bramanti was born on March 9, 1956 to Alice and Marino Bramanti in Brooklyn, NY. Alice was born in Northern Italy and Marino in Tuscany, Italy.

Robert loved his family with all his heart, they were his pride and joy. He was an amazing man, husband, father, brother, friend, son and “Grampy”. He loved spending time with his wife, Eileen, celebrating each and every day together as a blessing. Their beautiful marriage and immense love for each other has been an inspiration to anyone that knew them, especially their two daughters. He exuded tremendous pride in everything he did; from taking care of the house, to working on complicated parts at work, to raising and supporting his family. He loved to vacation with his family and friends. He loved watching the NY Jets and NY Mets and playing fantasy football/baseball. He loved fishing, golf outings and playing poker with his friends. He was an active member of St Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Islip Terrace, NY. Robert will be incredibly missed by his family, friends and all those who knew him. His family will be forever grateful for the beautiful and joyful life that he provided for them. Funeral services will be private. A memorial service will be planned at a later date to celebrate Robert’s wonderful life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert’s name to the American Heart Association (AHA)
