Obituary

Frances Tolliver was born October 25, 1918 in NYC to her parents Jennie and Philip Greco, who migrated to the US in 1912, from Sicly, Italy. She was one of 7 children all who have predeceased her except for her brother Sammy. She married Frederick Tolliver on December 7, 1941, the day Pearl Harbor was attacked. She worked as a machine operator on coats and in the school cafeteria in Sunrise, Florida and West Babylon, N.Y. She moved to Lindenhurst, N.Y. in 1952 and lived there till January, 2015 when she moved to Berkshire Nursing/Rehab in West Babylon, NY. She had 2 children, a son Frederick Tolliver born September, 1944, who predeceased her in July, 2019 and a daughter Francine DeMaio born May 1951. She became a widow in 1981. She is survived by her loving daughter Francine DeMaio, son-in-law John DeMaio, daughter-in-law Vivian Tolliver, 6 grandchildren, Robert/Shannon, Sheryl/Brian, Paul/Kavita, Justin/Julia, Adam and Keith, 11 great grandchildren, Tori/Jeff, Jordan/Paige, Cameron/Bethany, Faith/Caleb, Dylan/Logan, Tati, Jayden and Vivianna who predeceased her, Jasmine, Jayda and 3 great-great grandchildren, Anthony, Robbie and Beau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She lived a full life loving and serving JESUS!!!! She will be greatly missed but we rejoice knowing that she is walking the streets of GOLD.
