OMG, I just found out from Stacy that Josephine passed away. I worked with Josephine at Showtime Networks. Years go by and unfortunately we lose touch with people who we worked with, She was a terrific person, a wonderful personality, a great smile, a great team player, always pitching in the help her colleagues, I can go on and on. I remember when Josephine decided to go to law school, she asked me to write a letter of reference which I gladly did. I remember when I gave her the letter, she asked if she could read it and of course I said yes she could. She was so happy with what I wrote in the letter and she cried! She invited me to her graduation, I was thrilled be be invited and to be able to share in the joy of her celebration and achievement. May she be resting peacefully with the Angels.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you and wish we could share one more laugh. I would give anything to see you again. Your picture hangs in my closet so we can chat in the mornings. Hope you are listening. It was my greatest privilege to care for you while you were sick; time I wouldn’t trade for anything. I would have done it for another 100 years. Reading all the other nice things people said about you is a testament to your life. If they only knew you like I did, they would know you were even better. Time has not come close to healing the loss. Until I see you again in paradise, your sister and BFF.
I am at a loss for words. Just found out today 2/10/20 of Josephine's passing. Jo and I worked in the same department at Showtime Networks in the 80's and 90's and had some great days there. She was a very spirited individual with a great big heart and an amazing smile. Just wish I could have said good bye. Rest in perfect peace my dear friend.
Jo Jo always a smile, always a friend, always fun. Always wished I could be more like her. I admired her. She was The Epitome of Bethpage HS, school spirit! Loving thoughts and prayers to those who loved her. RIP JoJo.
