Obituary of Jean E. Byrnes

Jean, a resident of Sayville, LI, formerly of North Massapequa and Amityville died on May 26, 2018 after a short illness.

Jean Evelyn Conklin was born on April 22, 1922.  Her father Ezra was born and raised in Monroe, NY and her mother, Jane Hall was born in Longford Ireland. 

While at her brother’s wedding, she met the love of her life, Frank.  Frank and Jean married on August 31, 1946.   They spent 68 wonderful years together.  Unfortunately, in 2015 Jean said goodbye to the love of her life. 

Jean is survived by her children Barbara (Dennis) Griffiths, Francis P. (Debra) Byrnes and Maureen (Edward) Keegan; five grandchildren, Michael (Erica), Edward, Ashley, Sean (Alexandra), and Lauren and two great grandchildren Kaitlyn Keegan and Nora Byrnes.
