Obituary of Rose Bonora

Rose Bonora a.k.a Rosie was born on June 2nd, 1929 in Lawrence NY. She was the daughter of Eugene and Erminia Yannello and had 2 siblings Mary Merber and Frank Yannello.  Both have pre-deceased her. She met her husband John in high school and married after the Korean War. They lived in the Five Towns area of Long Island for over 50 years before moving to Suffolk County. He has since passed in August of 2012.

Rosie was loved by all, an angle in disguise. She gave love and hugs unconditionally to all who had the pleasure of meeting her.  Her children and grandchildren were the center of her life.

She worked at Sperry Gyroscope in Lake Success as a Purchasing Agent. Her hobbies included gardening, dancing to Frank Sinatra music, puzzles, building  and decorating miniature doll houses and of course spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children John Bonora and wife Sarah residing in Florida, Patty Knapp and husband Ed from New Jersey and Mark Bonora and wife Elise who live on Long Island. Her grandchildren, Emily and Keith Knapp and Christopher and Elaina Bonora.
