Obituary of Alice C. Boyle

Boyle, Alice C. of East Islip L.I. on February 15, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Michael F. Boyle. Loving mother of Neil (Lynne) Boyle, the late Edward (Cindy) Boyle, Alisa (Thomas) Lynn, Michelle (John) Johnston, Rev. Michael Boyle, John (Jeanne) K. Boyle, Peter (Mary Pat) Boyle, Robert (Dwayne) Boyle and Virginia (Matthew) Mullins. Cherished grandmother of twenty-three. Adored great grandmother of fifteen. Dear sister of Sarah Roche and Edna Cody. As well as Alice's love for her family, she had a passion for writing and art. She was one of the founders of the Peace and Justice Ministry at St. Mary's. She was the editor of the Parish Paper Spirit of St. Mary's, as well as a delegate for Pax Christi USA. Alice also was a diet clerk at Southside Hospital and belonged to the Third Order of Franciscans. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, St. Mary's R.C. Church, East Islip, L.I. on Saturday at 9:15AM. Interment to follow at Queen of All Saints Cemetery, Central Islip, L.I. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alice's loving memory to Pax Christi USA, 415 Michigan Avenue NE #240, Washington, DC 20017 or to St. Mary's Church, Parish Outreach, 20 Harrison Avenue, East Islip, NY 11730. Visiting Thursday and Friday 2:00PM until 4:30PM and 7:00PM until 9:30PM.
