Obituary of Thomas G. Connolly

Thomas G. Connolly, born on June 2, 1961 in New York City, went home after a wonderful life to meet the Lord on November 16, 2017.  Thomas was predeceased by his beloved mother, Anastasia, his loving father, Edward, and his older brother, Edward F.  He is survived by his brother Frank and his wife Linda of Levittown, NY, and his oldest brother, Michael and his wife Carol of Mendham NJ, his sister-in-law, Deborah of Hicksville, NY, and his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, Margaret, her husband Chris and their son, Clint, of Nesconset, NY; Sarah, her husband Matt, and their son, Michael, of St. Louis, Mo..; Kevin and Susan of Washington, DC; Kerry, her husband Bryan and their children Riley and Gavin of Levittown, NY; Elizabeth and her husband Keith of Winston-Salem NC; Melissa her husband Nick and their daughter Haley, of Hicksville, NY; Bryan of Charleston, SC; Steven of Hicksville, NY; Kathryn of Frederick, Md; Kristen of Hicksville, NY, and Daniel of Mendham, NJ; and his dear aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends in New York, Florida and Ireland. 

Thomas is also survived by his second family, the loving fellow residents (Angela, Bobby, Joe, Kim, Nancy, Patty and Scott) and caring staff from his group home in Wantagh, NY, and his dear friends and the caring staff from the East-Gate House and from the Center for Developmental Disabilities in Woodbury, NY.  All will remember Thomas as a gentle man who loved without condition and danced without care that anyone was watching.
