Geraldine I. Lang Sullivan 11/20/1936 - 11/5/17
Geraldine ("Gerri") died peacefully at Babylon Beach House in New York on 5 November 2017, surrounded by her loving family.  Gerri had been in the care of Good Shepherd Hospice services, after a number of years of illness.  She was predeceased by her first husband Robert Sr., sons Robert Jr and Gerard, second husband William Sullivan and beloved big brother Donald.

Gerri was born in the Bronx in 1936 to Mary Grady (Dolan) and Edward Grady.

She is survived by her children Michael, James and Mary Paige, son in law Charles, daughter in law Fiona, sister in law Carol, niece Julia Rose, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Gerri attended Cathedral High School in the Bronx and Manhattan and St. Vincents Hospital nursing school.  She worked as a medical office assistant prior to her first marriage.  Gerri raised her family of four children after the death of Robert Sr in 1977 while working and studying at St. John's University near her home in Flushing.  Gerri earned an Associate's Degree and became a paralegal in the University's general counsels' office before her marriage to William in 1989, when she relocated to Jensen Beach, Fl. and New Suffolk, NY.  She returned to live in her home on Shelter Island, NY after William's passing in 2003.

Gerri shared her love of singing and dancing and all things Irish with her family and friends, in particular with her dear cousins Maureen and Pinky.
